About Barbara Fisher

Barbara Fisher was born in New York City later moving near the Catskill Mountains when she was five years old. She attended Willimantic State College in Connecticuit, now Eastern Connecticut State University where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Education, making the Dean’s List during her senior year. Upon graduation Barbara worked as a substitute teacher in Norwalk, CT while also working as a packer for a NorthAmerican Van Lines agent in Stamford, CT.

Barbara’s work experiences also include inventory control for a highly reputable jewelry company in Hartford, CT, Office/Sales Administrator for a manufacturer’s broker in Lincoln, RI, and a Professional Recruiter for a placement agency in East Greenwich, RI. She left her job as an Office Manager for a manufacturing company in Middletown, RI to relocate to Fort Collins, CO with her husband.

Barbara has developed exceptional people and organizational skills through her various life and work experiences.
Not only is Barbara efficient, conscientious and reliable, but she has a good personality. Her ability to get along with people has been a great plus in our business.”

She has excellent organizational skills as well as the ability to prioritize work and handle multiple tasks.”

Barbara has always approached her work with a high level of professionalism. She completes projects on time and efficiently, and she has always done so with a pleasant demeanor and proactive attitude.”

“…her staff has great respect for Barbara, even when she has to navigate difficult issues.”

Barbara is extremely organized and her home is always ready for company. She possesses a keen eye for matching colors from memory. She has sold many homes in the past, and each one has sold in a short period of time. Her first house never made it to multiple listing. Barbara’s biggest challenge was moving across the country from Rhode Island to Colorado. She had to decide what she and her husband should take for their furnished apartment, what should go into storage, and what they should pack to take with them to visit their daughters in Florida. This was all accomplished in less than a month.

Barbara’s philosophy is that everything has a home whether its books and magazines, hobby supplies, or garden tools. The mail doesn’t have time to accumulate in the Fisher household. Barbara immediately sorts the mail into piles for: bills, magazines and catalogs, recycling, and to be shredded. The catalogs are then looked at, all personal information torn off and added to the shredding pile. The recycling is then taken out to the recycling bin in the garage. At the end of the day, everything is always where it belongs.
